I am an experienced English teacher and tutor, currently serving as Head of English at Lambrook School, Berkshire. I hold a Combined Honours degree in English and Music from Newcastle University and completed my teacher training through Teach First.
I began my career in a secondary academy in South Croydon before moving to York, where I taught English in a boarding school and worked as an Assistant Housemistress. These roles allowed me to support pupils not only academically, but pastorally, developing a strong understanding of how confidence, wellbeing and academic success are closely linked.
Alongside my teaching career, I completed a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, which deepened my interest in personalised learning and the transformative impact of high-quality one-to-one tuition.
